Web-Based Administration Software

When physical access control grows beyond a building or a campus, database administration becomes distributed and complex. Few access control systems handle this problem well, and virtually none has ever been called “intuitive” or easy to use. Common Pass has re-designed the entire web-based  administration model with global operations and multiple, varied users in mind.

Common Pass uses the latest SQL Server 2005 database platform, with all of its rich integration and reporting tools, to bring the user a truly comfortable, intuitive and purely web-based administration interface. Role-based administration allows complete control when numerous administrators of varied capabilities must be used.

The familiar “tree” display format allows clear and ready access to every database function while minimizing clutter. People, groups, doors, areas, and schedules are all logically arranged and easily understood. Access to various tree branches is based on the administrator role, which imposes a management hierarchy and prevents chaos when databases become large and many facilities are involved.
