The Common Pass Module |
|
The Common Pass Module connects in the path between the various card and biometric readers, and the existing (legacy) access control panel. It uses advanced processing power, large memory and secure Internet connectivity to pre-processes the information from the cards and then sends data to the old panel that it can understand. In effect, the old access control panel is relegated to door control and legacy card functions, and the advanced access decisions are made in the CPM.
